The people of Serêkaniyê have put up a tent on the border to protest against the threat of occupation issued by the invading Turkish state.

Today, on the third day of action, hundreds of people from Dirbêsiyê joined the protest.

One of the demonstrators, Osîle Emîn, told ANHA: “Today we go to Serêkaniyê and become human shields in response to Erdoğan's threats against the region. We will always resist the Turkish state attacks and will not let them to occupy the lands liberated with the blood of our martyrs.”

Ismail Mihemed condemned the threats of the Turkish state: “It is not necessary to find new adjectives to describe the Turkish state. Because everyone knows that it is an invader. We liberated our land with the blood of our children. Turkey will be defeated.”
