Dozens of olive trees cut down in occupied Afrin

Inhumane crimes and ecocide continue in Afrin, which has been occupied by the Turkish state and its mercenaries since 2018.

Jihadist mercenary groups under Turkish control have cut down 35 olive trees in the village of Kurzele in Afrin’s Sherawa district.

According to reports, the trees belonged to a local named Seid Hisen.

The Turkish army and its mercenaries have been continuing the destruction of nature since they occupied the Canton of Afrin.

According to the data of legal organizations, the Turkish army and its mercenaries have cut down more than 367,000 trees, burned about 13,500 trees and more than 12 hectares of agricultural land since they occupied Afrin Canton.
