Ehrez town as occupied by Jabat al-Nusra two years ago. Subsequently, the ISIS took over the rule in the town and was responsible for a variety of atrocities committed to the population. Many honorary people fled the region for Afrin, where they were welcomed with open arms and lived until the liberation of honor.
"Now it's our turn to help people from Afrin"
When many people from Afrin had to flee to escape massacres by the Turkish state and its militias, the people of Ehrez opened their doors.
Berxwedan from Efrîn says that they are provided with everything they need.
The co-mayor of town, Hemze Çawîs, recalled that the Ehrez territory was freed by the Revolutionary forces in 2016: "When we had to flee, we went to Afrin and we got everything we needed. Now we have house about 40,000 people from Afrin."
