People of North-East Syria continue their protests against the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan.
In Amude district of Qamishlo city, families of martyrs took to the streets under the motto “Let’s smash the Imralı system in the spirit of martyrs” in protest at the isolation imposed on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Masses including families of martyrs and representatives of civil society organizations joined the protest march chanting “Long live the Imralı resistance” and “Long live leader Öcalan”.
The march was followed by a rally at the Martyr Cihad Square where Ziwer Ali from the Council of Martyrs’ Families addressed the crowd.
Ali condemned the isolation of Öcalan and said; “Let the occupant Turkish state know that the Kurdish people will continue with their uprising until they live freely with leader Öcalan”.
