SDF fighter Mehmûd el-Nezal who fell a martyr in the Resistance of Honor was laid to rest in the Şehid Dijwar Cemetery of Martyrs in Dawudiyê village of Hesekê on Monday.

Masses joined the funeral at the cemetery which began with a military ceremony by YPG/YPJ fighters.

Speaking after, Council of Martyrs’ Families member Bedrî Hewala said that martyrs have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of their people.

Azad Eyûb who spoke in the name of the Internal Security Forces vowed to continue to resist until the goals for which martyrs have sacrificed their lives, are achieved.

After speeches, the Council of Martyrs’ Families announced the identities of four fighters who lost their lives in the resistance; SDF fighters Xidir Salih (Yelmaz Hesekê), Remedan Etiya (Dilşêr Qamişlo) and Sexir Ehmed (Dilbirîn Serêkaniyê) and Internal Security Forces member Rodî Ebas.

The death certificates of the martyrs were read and handed over to their families.

After speeches, SDF fighter Mehmûd el-Nezal was laid to rest with slogans.
