Farewell to three SDF martyrs in Heseke

People of Rojava continue to bid farewell to their beloved ones.

A massive funeral ceremony was held in Heseke for Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters Alan Derwîş (Hogir Hesekê), Necdet Hemade (Adil Şervan) and Casim El Iwêd (Besêl Hesekê) who fell in the Honor Resistance against Turkish invasion.

The ceremony at Dijwar Cemetery of Martyrs began with a minute’s silence for all martyrs, which was followed by a military ceremony of fighters from the People’s Defense Units (YPG).

Speakers on behalf of the Assembly of Martyrs’ Families and Heseke Military Council stressed that the peoples of North and East Syria have made major achievements thanks to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their peoples and lands.

During the ceremony, the Assembly of Martyrs’ Families also commemorated 42 fighters who fell in January.

After the death certificates of martyrs were read out and delivered to families, the three fighters were laid to rest with slogans and applause.
