The Operation “Cizire Storm”, launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to clear the last strongholds of ISIS in eastern Syria, continues at full speed in its 44th day.

On Hajin front of the battle field, ISIS mercenaries attacked the positions of SDF fighters with bomb-laden vehicles and heavy weaponry Wednesday evening.

The attacks targeted several locations on Hajin front at around 6 pm and were repelled by SDF in some of the affected positions. Heavy clashes are ongoing in some areas and reports suggest that several ISIS members have been killed during the fighting.

Taking advantage of the sandstorm, ISIS gangs have launched a wave of intensified attacks following the offensive launched by SDF forces against the mercenaries in the village of al-Sousse, which is ongoing for three days.
