Four people from Afrin who were about to leave the city occupied and ransacked by the Turkish army and its mercenary allies, lost their life when they stepped onto a mine.
The four civilians lost their lives between the villages of Barade and Bircike of Sherewa district in the Province of Afrin. Local sources said that the four civilians finally decided to leave Afrin following the pressure and violent practices they were subjected to by the Turkish state and its mercenaries.
Except five villages, all the other villages of the Sherewa area on the borders of Shehba are under the occupation of the Turkish state and their mercenary allies.
Many citizens, especially the older ones who have dedicated their life to grow their fields in Afrin, have decided to not leave their homes despite the brutality and the violence they are subjected to.
