Four members of the Self Defense Forces who fell as martyrs in the village of Saranji, in Dashisha town of Deir ez-Zor on Iraqi border, have been laid to rest in Shaddadi today.

Dozens of people bid farewell to the martyrs Amir Mihemed, Basim Mihemed, Abdullah Mihemed and Ebas Ali at the Shaddadi Cemetery of Martyrs. The funeral was also attended by representatives of military and civil institutions.

The fallen fighters’ certificates of martyrdom were read out and handed to their families, after which they were laid to rest to the accompaniment of laments and slogans.
