The Free Press Union organised a meeting in Tabqa.

Speaking at the meeting, Free Press Union co-chair, Evin Yusuf, explained the objectives and tasks of the organisation. Free Press Union, co-chair Sipan Can on the other hand added that the aim of the Union is to report in a fair and proper way events and political developments in the region.

Can said the Union is also in contact with world press institutions, as well as with all press agencies in Syria.

Sipan Can stated that there are 11 people representing the Union in the liberated regions of Raqqa, Manbij, Tabqa and that they also form a central committee to facilitate the work of reporters in the North and East Syria regions.

At the end of the speech, Sipan Can drew attention to the main mechanism of the union and the importance of the trainings organized for journalists.
