Funeral of journalist Seyit Evran will take place in Qamishlo on Wednesday

The funeral of revolutionary journalist Seyit Evran, who died on 22 September of a heart attack, will be held in Qamishlo on Wednesday.

Journalist Seyit Evran, one of the pioneers of the Free Press tradition, died of a heart attack on 22 September in a hospital in Northern and Eastern Syria where he was treated.

The funeral of Seyit Evran, who has been actively working in four parts of Kurdistan for more than 30 years, will be held on Wednesday, 27 September.

The ceremony will start at 11am in front of the hospital morgue in Qamishlo. The body will be taken from there to the Şehîd Delil Saruxan Cemetery of Martyrs.
