Heavy fighting in two districts of Afrin
Heavy fighting reported between the Turkish army and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Bilbile and Shera districts of Afrin on Tuesday.
Clashes erupted near Sheikhorze village, south of Bilbile district, as Turkish forces launched another attempt to advance.
Sheikhorze village is at the center of the fighting in northern Afrin, as clashes continue in the area for more than 15 days.
In Shera’s Sarinceke village SDF forces continue their resistance against invader Turkish army.
There are also reports of Turkish artillery targeting Afrin city center on Tuesday morning. Locals say that there are several wounded as a result of Turkish bombing.
