HRE fighter Ebdilhemid Ismail passes away

HRE fighter Ebdilhemid Ismail succumbed to illness in Shehba and was buried. Efrîn's liberation forces pay tribute to the fallen man's struggle, writing, "He proved that life has no meaning without fighting for freedom."

Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) announced that their fighter Ebdilhemid Ismail succumbed to illness in Shehba on December 9.

"Comrade Ebdilhemid, despite his old age, took action against the occupation and joined our ranks in 2019. With this valuable and imposing attitude, he has proved that life has no meaning if one does not fight for freedom. He has participated in all works with great enthusiasm, showing exemplary diligence."

HRE paid tribute to the efforts of the fallen fighter and extended their condolences to his relatives.

Ebdilhemid Ismail was laid to rest on Friday in the canton of Shehba in northwestern Syria. Hundreds of people paid their last respects to the deceased at a funeral service in front of the Avrin hospital in Fafin. The body was then transferred by convoy to the village of Um Hosh for burial.
