The people are carried out the human shield action against the threats of the Turkish state to occupy Northern and Eastern Syria.

The action is joined by civil society organizations and representatives of political parties in the region as well as the citizens of the region.

Representatives of the political parties delivered speeches at the action on Saturday.

Kedîm Ibrahîm, Future of Syria Party executive, pointed to the struggle of the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria against terrorism, saying that thanks to the sacrifice of the martyrs the people achieved many results and were able to establish a system promoting the common life of the peoples.”

Mustefa Ezîz, Democratic Union Party (PYD) executive, said: “We will not leave a single bit of our land to the invaders. Whatever the cost, we will defend our lands.”

Syrian Women's Council executive, Shemsa Sîno and activist Shiwêş Bethawî stressed that the people of the region would be resisting the threats of occupation.
