ANF spoke with internationalist fighters Serhildan, from the US, and Kemal from Russia. Both said that the resistance against the occupation would not end.
US fighter Serhildan said that he came in October 2017 to join the struggle in Rojava and that he participated in the defense of Afrin against the Turkish occupation.
He added that he was then involved in the operation against mercenaries in Deir Ezzor, Serhildan stated that he did not know much about the Kurds' struggle at first but later joined the fight because he learned that they were fighting for their countries and human values.
Serhildan said that they were opposing great resistance in the war against the Turkish state and radical Islamist mercenaries and will continue to resist.
Russian internationalist Kemal said: "I came here to support the fighting people. This is the first time I've ever fought in this war. The words are hard to find. My main reason for coming here was trying to stop Turkey attacking civilians."
Kemal underlined that Turkey is attacking Rojava together with mercenaries but added that other international powers have also their hand in it.
Serhildan ended by saying that they will continue to fight Turkey and its mercenaries.
