During a meeting attended by commanders and members of the expanded Kobani Military Council, officials from various SDF units, SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi, and members of the SDF General Command Çiya Kobani and Sozdar Derik, the commanders and fighters of Kobani Military Council have reiterated their unwavering commitment to confronting any aggression, confirming that they have completed comprehensive defensive preparations to safeguard and protect their region and people with full capacity.

During the meeting, the Kobani Military Council reviewed its recent military activities, highlighting the strong public support for their forces’ legitimate defense mission. Additionally, it emphasized the need to expedite the initiation of Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue and ensure Kurdish representation in all international negotiations. The Kobani Military Council informed the SDF General Command of the prevailing conditions in the region, emphasizing the necessity of addressing deficiencies in certain service institutions, providing necessities for the population, and expanding job opportunities for young people.

In turn, the SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi commended the Kobani Military Council’s preparedness to protect the region and its people. Abdi underscored the paramount importance of strengthening the home front and rectifying shortcomings in all areas. Additionally, Abdi emphasized the SDF’s willingness to engage in dialogue with all relevant parties, including Turkey, to achieve political solutions to all outstanding issues, reiterating their commitment to not tolerate any military or security attacks or interventions. He also highlighted the continued training for fighters and unwavering support for the Kobani Military Council and its forces.
