Manbij Zenobiya Women's Union protests Turkish state's attacks

The Manbij office of the Zenobiya Women's Union protested the invading Turkish state's murder of Hena El Eli and her 6-month-old baby in the village of Seyda in Manbij, expressing that the silence of international human rights organizations is shameful.

The Zenobiya Women's Union office in Manbij issued a statement to protest the attacks carried out by the invading Turkish state against Manbij and its villages. The statement was made in front of the office and was read by Hiba El Ehmed.

The statement condemned the attacks carried out by the invading Turkish state against Northern and Eastern Syria, and underlined that Hena El Eli and her 6-month-old baby Sam Emir were killed in the last attack against the village of Seyada.

The statement said that the Turkish state attacks people reclaiming freedom regardless of whether they are children or women. It added that the aim of the Turkish state is to destroy the resistance of the people of the region and the democratic nation project. "The Turkish state wants to revive the dream and greediness of the Ottoman empire. It proved his barbarism by carrying out massacres with these attacks targeting citizens. The Turkish state is violating international laws."

Drawing attention to the Turkish state's practices towards women in the occupied regions, the statement said that the Turkish state is trying to destroy women's spirit of resistance, the idea of free women, and the will of women who want to build a democratic and free society.

The statement also underlined that "the silence of the international community and human rights organizations about the attacks is shameful."
