Martyr Abu Mihemed laid to rest in Kobanê

Xalid Ziyad Menle (Abu Mihemed), who fell martyr as a result of the Turkish government attacks against Manbij, was sent laid to rest in an emotional ceremony in Sirîn.

Xalid Ziyad Menle (Abu Mihemed), a fighter of the Manbij Military Council, who fell martyr during the resistance against the invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state and its mercenaries against the villages of Manbij, was laid to rest in the district of Sirîn in Kobanê.

Autonomous Administration representatives, civil society organization members and representatives in Kobanê and Sirîn, Manbij Civilian Assembly officials, Manbij military and civilian council members and local residents attended the ceremony.

Speaking at the funeral, which started with a minute of silence, one of the officials of the Manbij Military Council, Îbrahîm Şerîde, stressed that they will follow the resistance path led by martyrs.

Expressing condolences to the martyr's family, Sirîn People's Municipality co-mayor Mistefa Muslim said: "Martyr Abu Mihemed sacrificed his life for his people to live in peace and security. We promise that we will protect the gains of the martyrs until the end."

After the speeches, the martyrdom document of Mihemed was read and delivered to his family.
