People of Heseke bid farewell to four martyrs of resistance; Zagros Rodî (Fehed Şêxmus) Mihemed Mela Hesen, Ahmet El Hiseyin and Mistefa Ebdurrezaq who fell in Heseke and Deir ez-Zor on different dates.

The massive funeral ceremony at the Dijwar Cemetery of Martyrs was attended by fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Self-Defense Forces, members of political and civil institutions and a number of people.

Speaking at the ceremony that began with a minute’s silence, Heseke Military Council Commander Hüseyin Sermo offered condolences to the families and relatives of the martyrs and said the following; “We will not leave the invaded areas to the occupation forces. We have fought against the ISIS before and we are fighting against the Turkish state and allied mercenary groups now. We reiterate our promise to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs and to avenge them.”

After speeches, the fallen fighters’ certificates of martyrdom were read out and handed over to their families. The martyrs were then laid to rest with slogans.
