Manbij Military Council (MMC) Spokesperson, Shervan Derwish, spoke to ANHA news agency about the alleged withdrawal from Manbij of the MMC and the supposed crossing through the territory by the Turkish state. Derwish denied such allegations.

Dervish reminded that the Manbij Military Council is working together with the Coalition Forces, and denied the allegations. He added: "There are sectors aiming at destabilizing the security and protection of the area and so spread lies".

Commenting on the news of talks between the Coalition and Turkey, Derwish said they were aware of the talks but no alliance has been reached over Manbij so far.

Finally, Derwish said that a delegation from the US State Department had visited the Manbij Military Council on Tuesday to reiterate their support for the Council.
