People of Afrin are resisting for one week to protect their land against invasion. The whole city has mobilized against the Turkish state and ISIS fascism. The struggle waged by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the emplacements of resistance receives the greatest support from the people of Afrin.

“WE ARE NOT AFRAID OF ERDOGAN’S WARPLANES”

Young and old alike, everyone is in an act of mobilization in Afrin city centre and its districts. While some are taking up arms and headed to the emplacements, mothers are cooking for the fighters on the frontlines.

Mothers in Afrin’s Sherawa district state that they are cooking meal for SDF fighters since the first day attacks started, saying; “We are not afraid of Erdogan’s warplanes and artillery attacks. What is he doing in our lands? We will not allow them to invade Afrin.”
