Clashes have been reported between the Suleyman Shah mercenary group and the occupying Turkish soldiers in the Shiyê district of Afrin.

Nine civilians were kidnapped in the area.



Violent clashes have been reported since Sunday night. Sources in the region said the conflict has continued throughout Monday.

Local sources also reported that the mercenaries kidnapped nine civilians who have not been yet named.
