The Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration Health Committee announced that 39 more coronavirus cases were detected in the region in the last 24 hours. The number of people who recovered in the last 24 hours was 16, the Committee added.
Autonomous Administration Health Committee co-chair, Ciwan Mustafa, said in a statement that 18 of the newly detected cases were women and 21 were men.
According to the statement, the distribution of new cases by cities is as follows: Hesekê 10, Qamishlo 9, Dêrik 7, Dirbêsiyê 7, Girkê Legê 2, Kobanê 2, Shehba 2.
Mustafa added that 16 people with Covid-19 have recovered while no deaths were registered.
According to the latest data, the total number of cases in Northern and Eastern Syria increased to 1343, while the total number of people who recovered reached 379.
