Attacks by the occupying Turkish state-backed SNA mercenaries against the Tishrin dam continue unabated.
The occupying Turkish state and allied SNA gangs launched another attack on the Tishrin dam with heavy weapons on Wednesday.
Manbij Military Council fighters are responding to the attacks.
The Tishrin dam, which was subjected to intense attacks by the Turkish state and allied Syrian National Army (SNA) mercenaries recently and went out of service as a result of the attacks, is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The resistance of the Manbij Military Council, SDF and YPJ (Women’s Defense Units) fighters against the attacks continues. The Tishrin dam, where fierce clashes took place for days, went out of service on 10 December and left Kobanê Canton completely without electricity.
On 11 December, the invaders bombed an ambulance carrying the wounded on the road to Tishrin dam, and the ambulance driver and one of the wounded carried in the ambulance were martyred in the attack.
On 12 December, the occupying forces attacked the Tishrin dam from three sides and tried to advance with tanks and panzers. Fierce clashes erupted after the SDF fighters responded harshly.
Refuting the disinformation-oriented reports of the Turkish state and special war media and announcing that the attacks on the Tishrin dam and Qereqozax bridge were repelled, the General Command of the Manbij Military Council announced on 13 December that 210 mercenaries were killed in 3 days, 39 military vehicles and 6 tanks were destroyed and 5 drones were shot down.
On 12 December, the SDF Press Centre shared with the public the images of the retaliatory actions against the occupying Turkish state and its mercenaries.
Earlier today, Manbij Military Council released footage of a defense force drone destroying a mobile radar system of the Turkish army.
