People of Afrin and Shehba cantons of Rojava are protesting against Turkish invasion in northern Syria.
Masses are joining a march in Shehba Canton of Rojava, northern Syria, in protest at the invasion, demographic change and crimes committed by the Turkish army and allied gangs in Afrin Canton.
Large numbers of people gathered in the village of Tal Qerah this morning and started a march to the Serdam Camp in the village of Sosin.
Protesters are holding flags of YPG/YPJ (People’s/Women’s Defense Units), women’s organization Kongreya Star and banners of Shehba Canton Council, and banners reading “Russia and Turkey are accomplice to the division of Syria and change of demography in Afrin and Ghouta”, “Antep Council is the council of traitors”, “Stop invading Turkish state’s crimes against civilians in Afrin” and “We condemn the Turkish state’s attacks and international silence”.
The protest demonstration continues.
