People take to the streets against invaders in Gire Spi and Siluk

In the Turkish occupied city of Gire Spi (Tal Abyad) and the town of Siluk, people have taken to the streets in protest at the increasing repression by the occupation forces.

According to reports, the Turkish state imposes the use of Turkish currency Lira (TL) in the Gire Spi city as in other occupied areas in North-East Syria. Increasing repression in the occupied areas and increase of the bread price led the people to take to the streets to protest the acts of the invaders.

The residents gave the message that they don’t want the occupiers in their land.

People in the town of siluk have also taken to the streets to protest the occupation forces.
