Hundreds of members of the Revolutionary Youth Movement joined a demonstration in Ehres district of the Shehba Canton in protest at the Turkish genocidal campaign seeking to invade North and East Syria.

Participants of the protest march displayed posters of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, photos of the Honor Resistance martyrs and banners reading “Rojava resistance protects humanity”.

The march, accompanied by slogans against Turkish invasion, was followed by a rally at the district square where a statement was read out, both in Kurdish and Arabic, on behalf of Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement.

The statement pointed out the Turkish state’s intention to commit a massacre against the peoples of North and East Syria since the beginning of the Syrian crisis in an attempt to destroy the democratic nation project of peoples.

The Revolutionary Youth underlined that they would be standing behind the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in their historic resistance against invasion.
