Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Office announced the results of clashes that took place between SDF forces and Turkish troops in Shehba Canton of Afrin region Friday night.

According to the statement, Turkish troops and allied gangs attacked the village of Tiwese at 00:30 a.m. which faced strong response from SDF forces.

SDF fighters also targeted the Turkish forces’ position in the village of Kilcibrin in Azaz region, two other positions near Mari and near Al-Sheala village in Kefre region, in addition to the location of gangs in Til Malid.

Turkish troops and ‘Euphrates Shield’ gangs conducted artillery attacks that targeted Til Cican, Shehba Dam, El Hisye, Til Mediq and Til Rifat areas 51 times.

During the clashes that continued till 05:00 in the morning, at least 13 members of the Turkish army and allied gangs were confirmed killed and many others were wounded.
