According to SDF’s statement, 16 gang members were killed and several were wounded during clashes in Afrin on January 24.

SDF also reported one Turkish armored vehicle destroyed and said that Turkish forces suffered heavy casualties.

SDF sources say that a detailed statement will be made public later in the day.
