SDF: Attacks repelled, three gangs killed in Serêkaniyê

The Turkish army and allied savage jihadists have been trying to invade northern Syria in a genocidal campaign ongoing since October 9.

The Press Office of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released a statement on the latest attacks of the Turkish army and allied gangs on northern Syria.

SDF said that the occupant Turkish army continued its attacks with tanks, artilleries and heavy weapons against Rojava and North-East Syrian territories, noting that the attacks targeted the areas of Ain Issa, Amude and Derik.

Regarding the attacks against Ain Issa, SDF Press Office said the following; “The occupant army and allied gang groups have continued their invasion attempts in the Ain Issa area, its countryside and the international M-4 highway. The gang groups attacked with heavy weapons the villages of Bîr Kîno, Genteriyê, Kefîfa, Tirwaziyê and the surrounding areas of M-4, causing material damage on the fields and houses of civilians. The Turkish army, with all its might, tries to invade a part of the international M-4 highway.

On December 17, the occupant army looted the Shergirak wheat silo with the support of a convoy of vehicles with heavy weapons. For the last three days, a larger part of the wheat in the silo has been looted with the help of gang groups.”

Concerning the situation in Serêkaniyê, SDF said the following; “Gang groups affiliated to the occupant army had been preparing to attack Serêkaniyê's Misherfe village when their improvised explosive devices (ied) exploded. According to information we have received, at least three gangs were killed in the explosion and many more wounded.”

SDF said the following about the aggression on Derik area: “The occupant army attacked the villages of Etebe and Derna Axe with heavy weapons. The attack caused material damage on civilian settlements.”
