SDF forces repel attack on Qestel Cindo
Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters have repelled attacks by Turkish army and gangs in Qestel Cindo Hill in Afrin.
Turkish army and its gangs launched an attack to capture Qestel Cindo Hill but the area remains under SDF control, SDF Press Centre says.
Turkish army attacked Qestel Cindo early on Sunday and retreated after suffering heavy losses. SDF said the exact number of the dead and wounded couldn’t be determined.
Warplanes carried our airstrikes on Qestel Cinto after the attack.
In another development Turkish warplanes hit Qedde village in Raco district, north-east of Afrin.
