SDF freed over two thousand civilians from ISIS in Deir ez-Zor

As part of their Jazeera Storm military campaign in Deir ez-Zor region, the SDF fighters secured a number of safety corridors and liberated more than two thousand civilians who were used by the ISIS as human shields.
The majority of the freed civilians are the elderly, women and children.
The ISIS mercenaries have set up minefields in order to prevent the escape of civilians who are fleeing towards the SDF-held areas. Many civilians have been killed or injured due to these explosive mines.
