Fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have rescued hundreds of civilians from ISIS-held areas in al-Sousse and Baghouz regions of Deir ez-Zor.

Military sources state that some civilians were massacred by ISIS gangs while they tried to flee from ISIS regions and reach safe areas, while some others lost their life due to explosion of mines planted by ISIS.

Reports suggest that civilians continue to reach areas under SDF control, who are then transferred to safe areas.
