The Military Operation Units of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) successfully thwarted an escape attempt by two members of the so-called “Cubs of the Caliphate” who were hiding within the Hol camp. The two Indonesian and one Turkestani nationals were captured along with a Syrian national involved in facilitating the attempted escape.

The SDF Media Center stated that: “Following proactive monitoring efforts, our forces conducted a raid on a designated hideout within the al-Hol camp where two members of the “Cubs of the Caliphate” were hiding with the smuggler who is from the al-Kasra village, Deir ez-Zor. The three individuals were captured and transferred to the appropriate authorities.”
