Sheikh Rihal: We will defend our homeland

Sheikh Remedan Rihal, from the Welid aşiret of the El Elî tribe, said that every citizen should stand against the Turkish invasion and stand by the SDF to defend their homeland.

Sheikh Remedan Rihal told ANHA that the Turkish state has tried all kinds of war practices on Syrian soil for years, and added: “Turkey uses all kinds of weapons. It has changed the demographic structure by occupying our houses and towns. It has destroyed and plundered our nature. It has eliminated Syrian money and made its own compulsory in these areas. All the historical sites of Syria were destroyed by the Turkish occupation and many historical monuments were destroyed.”

Stay away from the Turkish state

Sheikh Remedan Rihal said that the Syrian territory is one from the Mediterranean to the Iraqi border, from the Jordanian border to the Turkish border, and added that the Turkish state turned tens of thousands of Syrian citizens into loyal soldiers and informers.

Sheikh Remedan Rihal continued: “Thousands of young people are giving their lives to defend their country. These children are the children of the tribes and people in these lands, but the Turkish state is killing our children through informers. Stay away from the Turkish state.”

We will stand against the Turkish state

Sheikh Remedan Rihal wants the SDF to continue its operations and rid their lands of traitors. He said: "As tribes, we will stand by the SDF until the end, and we will defend both our people. We will fight hard against the fascist Turkish state, its collaborators and agents. Shout out to anyone who can raise a gun. Fighting against the invaders is the primary duty, even according to Islam, it is obligatory to rise up against the invaders and to defend our lands.”

Addressing religious scholars, Islamic Union states and the Arab League, Sheikh Remedan Rihal said: “The Turkish state considers it permissible to shed the blood of the Syrian people. Will you continue to remain silent on this?”
