Six mercenaries killed as Afrin Liberation Forces hit invaders
Afrin Liberation Forces have reported continued military actions against the occupation forces in occupied regions.
A statement by the Afrin Liberation Forces said that during the last days, their units have launched a series of military actions against terrorist Turkish army and its jihadist allied near the cities of Mare and Azaz as well as in Afrin city center.
The statement detailed the operations as follows:
“One of our squads assaulted simultaneously a number of military points of the Turkish-backed terrorists in the vicinity of Mare city on 19th of December, killing about five terrorists and wounding several others.
On the same day and near Azaz city, our team targeted a Turkish-backed mercenary with sniper fire, killing him.
Our squad planted an explosive device at the headquarters of the Sultan Mohamed Fatih Brigade in Afrin city center on 20th of December. No clear information could be obtained about the number of killed and wounded terrorists.
Our team targeted with an explosive device a joint patrol conducted by the Turkish army and the Hamza Division mercenaries while they were driving on the road that connects Marate village with Afrin city center. Action resulted in the inury of one Turkish soldier and one mercenary.”
