The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) refuted the reports circulated by the Turkish press agency “Anadolu” on “Egypt’s government sending tens of troops to fight on the side of regime forces and loyal militias in Syria”.

Citing reliable sources, SOHR said that the reports are completely false.

Turkey’s official ‘Anadolu Agency” had reported that there are Egyptian soldiers and pilots in Syria where they engaged in military operations and aerial bombardment on several Syrian territories. SOHR refuted all of these reports at that time.
