Mercenary groups under the command of the Turkish state continue their violations and crimes in the occupied areas in northern Syria.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that a group of members of “Al-Sham Corps” stormed the village of Deir Baloot in Afrin countryside, arresting an Arab and three Kurdish civilians. Civilians were taken to the faction’s prisons in the village of Iska in Jindires district, SOHR said.
On the other hand, the Observatory stated that Turkish-backed factions continue their violations against the Kurds. SOHR sources have reported that members of Turkish-backed factions are renting olive groves and grapes belonging to Kurdish farmers in the village of Midan Ekbis, to the shepherds of displaced Arab people in the area. The shepherds are carrying weapons while grazing sheep.
Citing “reliable sources”, SOHR said that on May 11, an armed group of Turkish-backed “Al-Hamzat Division” arrested the headman Shoraba in Ma’abatli area in rural Afrin in north-west Aleppo, along with three other civilians, for “dealing” with “Self-Administration” before.
Meanwhile, the armed group has stormed houses in the village, searching for other people, according to SOHR.
