Within the scope of the second phase of the Resistance of the Age in occupied Afrin, YPG forces carried out two separate operations targeting the Turkish-backed mercenaries in Afrin city as well as in Afrin’s Sherawa district.

YPG Press Office announced the details of these operations as follows:

"On November 26th, our unit carried out a sabotage action on the road leading from Afrin city center to the Basuta village located in Sherawa district, targeting a military vehicle of the Hamza Division mercenary faction. As a result, the vehicle itself was completely destroyed, while four of the terrorists were killed and two were heavily wounded.

On the same day, our unit carried out an action in the Gubele village, near to Afrin city, targeting a military vehicle of the Levant Front (Jabhat al-Shamiya) mercenary faction. As a result, one terrorist was killed.

Regarding our previous statement, related to the sabotage action carried out by our unit on November 24th on the road leading to the Birj Heyder village and where we have stated that two of the Sham Legion terrorists were heavily wounded, it was confirmed that they were killed."
