The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) shared its 2021 report on the Syrian crisis. According to the report, 182 women and 359 children were killed in various ways in Syria in 2021.

In the report, it was stated that 28 of the women were killed by a mine explosion, 15 by a random bullet, and 44 in various ways due to family and tribal conflicts. The report also said that 45 women were killed as a result of bombings by the Damascus government and 16 were killed by ISIS mercenaries. 12 women were killed in ways that could not be established.

The report also said that a woman was murdered as a result of torture in prisons under the control of the Damascus government. Eight women lost their lives in the attacks carried out using bomb-laden vehicles.

According to SOHR data, there are 41,312 women in the prisons of the Damascus government. Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis in 2011, 20,315 women in prison have disappeared.

The report also said that 359 children were murdered in various ways in Syria in 2021.
