Unable to advance in the face of the resistance by YPG/YPJ fighters, the Turkish army continues targeting civilian settlements in the ongoing invasion operation against Afrin Canton of Northern Syria.
Artillery attacks on Afrin’s Shera district also targeted the mosque in village of Meremine, as a result of which three civilians got wounded.
Thursday’s attacks on Afrin’s Rajo district targeted the mosque in the village of Xerab Sorik. As a result of the bombardments on the village, the mosque and nearby houses of civilians were demolished.
Another mosque in Jindires district was also bombed by the Turkish forces recently.
