Tribal leaders in Cizîr Canton: We stand by the SDF and the Autonomous Administration

Kurdish and Arab tribal leaders at the Cizîr Canton’s Council of Opinion Leaders emphasised that a solution can be achieved through internal dialogue, stating that they stand by the SDF and the Democratic Autonomous Administration.

The Council of Opinion Leaders of Cizîr Canton in North and East Syria held a meeting in Hesekê with the sheikhs and opinion leaders of Kurdish and Arab tribes and well-known personalities of the region to evaluate the latest developments in Syria.

Hember Hesen, Coordinator of the Council of Opinion Leaders, Ekrem Mehşoş, Director of Hesekê Assembly of Opinion Leaders, Alan Hisên, Public Relations Manager of the SDF in Cizîr Canton and Enwer Elî, Public Relations Manager of Internal Security Forces in Cizîr Canton were elected to the council board of the meeting.

The participants discussed the developments in North and East Syria and pointed out that the regions in which the SDF is present have the characteristics that will enable a transition to the next phase.

It was stressed that everyone should act in unity and solidarity and work in the interests of the people of the region, oppose hate speech and raise awareness among the youth of the region.

During the discussions, it was highlighted that social solidarity for the protection of the rights of the components in the region, struggle against hate speech and internal dialogue are the basis for the construction of the new Syria.

Participants expressed their support for the Democratic Autonomous Administration and the SDF, which, they said, is the only force that defends the region and its people.
