On Tuesday morning, an armed Turkish army drone crashed near the village of Abu Sira in the west of Ain Issa. It has not yet been clarified whether the cause was a technical defect or a shootdown.

Only last Wednesday, a twelve-year-old child was seriously injured in a Turkish drone attack near Tirbespîyê and succumbed to his injuries in hospital a few days later.
