Turkish attacks against Afrin continue for the 7th day. Turkish forces attempted to attack in multiple fronts and met with strong SDF resistance. Several airstrikes were reported after Turkish army failed to advance.

SHERA

Turkish artillery bombed Qestel Cindo Hill in rural Shera and launched an attack against SDF forces. The attack was foiled by SDF and Turkish army units had to retreat to their original positions. SDF sources report casualties on the Turkish side.

SDF forces also foiled another attack by the Turkish army in Marazan village near the border.  

JINDIRES

Turkish army continues its heavy bombardment in Jindires district, in the south-east of Afrin. Several villages were targeted by the Turkish army.

SHERAWA

Turkish army forces launched an attack to capture Bircike Sileman village but repelled by SDF fighters. After the attack Turkish warplanes bombed Basifane village.

SHIYE

Turkish warplanes also hit Ceqela village near Shiye district. No further information could be obtained about the result of the attack.

RACO

After SDF fighters destroyed two tanks on Thursday night, Turkish army launched airstrikes on Hesarke and Tepe Kevire villages in Raco.
