Local sources said that the Ehrar El Şerqiye mercenaries affiliated with the Turkish state  surrounded the village of Zêbeqiye in Girê Spî Canton on Tuesday evening and kidnapped a citizen named Mihemed Elî Osman. The sources stated that it is not known where the kidnapped citizen was taken and added that, despite all the efforts of the family, it was impossible to learn what happened to the man.

Kidnapping is a way of making money for the mercenaries linked to the invading Turkish state. Mercenaries demand ransom from the families of the people they kidnap in exchange for his/her release.
