We reached the village at 12:00 at night and we headed towards the border at 03:00 midnight. We then crossed the border to see that we were surrounded by Turkish soldiers. They brutally battered us for two hours and shot our video as we were tortured. They shot two of the youths to death.”

The YPG fighters there took us to the Wetenî Hospital in Girê Spî but the bodies of the 2 slain youths remained at the border.”
