YPG-affiliated Anti Terrorist Units (YAT) carried out an operation against ISIS mercenaries in two towns of Deir ez-Zor. 19 mercenaries were captured together with their weapons.

According to the statement made by the YPG Press Center, "On October 10, a joint operation was carried out by YAT and International Coalition forces against ISIS mercenaries in Dashisha and Suwar, Deir ez-Zor."

The YPG said: "19 mercenaries were caught in the operation, weapons and ammunition belonging to the mercenaries were also confiscated."

The seized weapons and ammunition were as follows:

- 1 piece of 12.5 mm machine gun

- 2 B-7 type rocket launchers

- 1 AK-47 type rifle

- 1 M-16 type rifle

- 1 sniper gun

- 1 BKC type rifle

- 3 hand grenades

- A large quantity of shells and magazines
