Yazidi Union condemns the international conspiracy

People of northern Syria continue their protests against the international conspiracy that targeted Abdullah Öcalan 21 years ago.

The Union of Yazidis in the Shehba Canton of northern Syria protested against the international conspiracy that led to the capture and handover of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan from Kenya to Turkey on 15 February 1999.

The press statement read by the Union said the following;

“We are going through a time when the whole world calls for freedom, democracy and human rights. However, the situation in the world and the Middle East is total opposite. The conspiracy against Öcalan targeted the world peoples who demand freedom, democracy and freedom. The conspiracy was directed against humanity. Those involved in the conspiracy aimed for a slavery of peoples and eradication of humanity.”

The statement stressed that the conspiracy also targeted the Yazidi community who were enlightened with Öcalan’s ideas after dozens of massacres they have suffered in their history.

The demonstration was concluded with the slogans “Bê serok jiyan nabe” [No Life Without the Leader] and “Şehid namirin” [Martyrs are immortal].
