YPG: 2420 Turkish soldiers and terrorists killed since January

The YPG Press Center published a statement on its site on the second stage of Afrin resistance. The statement details the actions against the Turkish occupation forces and their gangs. According to the statement, at least 12 Turkish military and gang members were killed between April 17 and April 25.
The YPG Press Center said that since the invasion of Afrin by the Turkish state on January 20th, "the losses suffered by the Turkish army and gangs have risen to 2,420". The YPG also shared a photo of a Turkish soldier and a vehicle in its website.
The statement said: "Between 17 and 25 April, the campaigns carried out by our forces against the invading Turkish army and gangs in Afrin, hit the invaders hard".
The statement added: "In the second stage of the Resistance of the Age, the People's Defense Units and Women's Defense Units hit the invading Turkish army hard. At least 12 soldiers and gangs were killed in actions carried out by our forces in the region".
Details of the actions are as follows:
"17 April: An officer named as Taner Cobanoglu, was killed in an action carried out in Afrin city centre. On the same day another high-ranking Turkish soldier was killed in an action carried out in Jindires district centre.
17 April: A terrorist named as Selam Elhamadi was killed and two terrorists were seriously injured in the sabotage action carried out by our forces in the village of Ebu Kaab in Jindires.
18 April: Our forces carried out a sabotage action in Afrin city centre. Three soldiers from the occupying army were killed and six others were wounded.
19 April: Our forces carried out an action targeting a military vehicle dispatching terrorists from Furqat Al-Hamza group in Shiye district. A terrorist by the name of Huseyn el Ali was killed and 4 other terrorists were wounded.
The names of the wounded terrorists are as follows: Muhammed Kara Huseyin, Huseyin Yüzbaşı, Abid el Qadir Şexlî, Abid el Latif Kimko.
21 April: Two terrorists were killed by our forces clashed with a group of Feylaq al-Sham gangs travelling on the Afrin-Tirinde: The funerals of the killed terrorists were kept under surveillance by our forces for three days.
22 April: Three gang members from Furqat el Hamza were killed by our forces when clashes erupted on the Rajo-Afrin way. The same day, 1 gang member was killed and 2 gang members were wounded in an action near the Qabûn junction in Afrin city center.
On 17 and 18 April, the Turkish invading army together with thousands of terrorists, warplanes and drones, launched a comprehensive operation near the centers of Rajo, Bilbilê, Jindires and Afrin. This operation was a failure and stopped on the evening of 18 April.
On those same days, hundreds of soldiers, armored personnel carriers and heavy weapons were moved from the so-called observation point of the invading Turkish army in the north of İdlib and sent to the village of Basûfanê of Sherawa district of Afrin, as a result of the cooperation deal with Russia.
After all the actions, our forces have returned safe to their bases without suffering any loss".
