YPG Spokesperson for Afrin, Brusk Hesekê responded to allegations by the Turkish state that YPG forces fired mortars into the Atme Camp:

“As YPG forces, from day one we said the terrorist attacks are dirty tricks of the Turkish state and their allied groups. They resort to such dirty tricks to hide their defeat in the face of our forces in Afrin.

It’s not possible for our forces to target civilians. But the Turkish state and their allied terrorist groups have a history filled with crimes against humanity and lies.”
